stable data transmission with mechanical contact and vibration protection
The AIXONTEC SCREWBoot system solution offers the user the possibility to realize a mechanically robust RJ-45 network connection system with screw closure. The system consists of high-quality RJ-45 patch cords with a specially overmolded bend protection sleeve with integrated screws. The special screws are an integral part of the bend protection sleeve and cannot fall out the overmolding. On the RJ-45 jack side we offer special adapter plates and distribution panels (MDB) with integrated screw lock, which are exactly applicable to the SCREWBoot connector. SCREWBoot patch cords can also be used for GigE Vision cables specifically for Gigabit Ethernet cameras used in vision applications.
Die AIXONTEC SCREWBoot Systemlösung bietet dem Benutzer die Möglichkeit eines mechanisch robusten RJ-45 Netzwerkanschlusssystems mit Schraubverschluss zu realisieren. Das System besteht aus hochwertigen RJ-45 Patchkabeln mit einer speziell umspritzten Knickschutztülle mit integrierten Schrauben. Die speziellen Schrauben sind fester Bestandteil der Knickschutztülle und können aus der Tülle nicht herausfallen. Auf der RJ-45 Buchsenseite bieten wir spezielle Adapterplatten und Verteilerfelder (MDB) mit integriertem Schraubverschluss an, die genau auf den SCREWBoot Stecker anwendbar sind. SCREWBoot Patchkabel können auch für GigE Vision Kabel speziell für Gigabit Ethernet Kameras aus dem Bereich der industriellen Bildverarbeitung eingesetzt werden.

The product range of the SCREWBoot system solution includes the special SCREWBoot RJ-45 patch cords, which can be individually assembled according to customer requirements. The SCREWBoot patch cord types are tested in patch cord test and thus ensure excellent data transmission properties, certified according to ISO/IEC 11801. The system includes the matching RJ-45 jacks, each of which is available in adapter plates (1/2-port) or as a distribution panel (MDB 6-port). The complete system was developed and produced in Germany and thus remains consistently available and individually configurable.

RJ-45 plug with screw thread
For the assembly of our SCREWBoot patch cord types we use high quality 50µ gold plated RJ-45 connectors with integrated cable strain relief. The unique bend protection sleeve was developed by us and is manufactured by injection molding. The innovative overmolding has two special screws, whcih are screwed together in the counterpart and can not fall out. With this system, a permanent data connection with mechanical protection can be realized.
GigE compatible
SCREWBoot patch cords are GigE compatible and can be used for Gigabit Ethernet cameras from the field of industrial image processing. With a screw spacing of 20mm, our SCREWBoot patch cords are ideal for installation on Gigabit Ethernet cameras. Our SCREWBoot patch cords also offers the possibility of PoE transmission and can simultabeously supply the GigE cameras with power in addition to data transmission.

Vibration and contact protection
The SCREWBoot RJ-45 patch cords are firmly screwed to the RJ-45 module thanks to the integrated and offer ideal vibration and contact protection. Even with strong movements within a plant, our SCREWBoot system is firmly screwed together and therefore offers secure data transmissions. This allows us to prevent production downtime due to missing data transmissions and save costs in troubleshooting.
Lose protection
The special SCREWBoot screws have a mechanical loss protection and cannot fall out of the overmold bend protection sleeve. The SCREWBoot screws are available in M2 and M3 versions, the patch cord is supplied with M3 slotted screws as standard. The high-quality SCREWBoot screws are protected against rust.
Pulling protection
Due to the secure screw connection of the RJ-45 plug with the RJ-45 module, an unintentional data interruption is almost impossible. Data transmission cannot be interrupted by pulling on the cable. The RJ-45 plug used also offers additional protection with its integrated cable strain relief and robust bend protection sleeve. Unintentional pulling on an ethernet cable can lead to failures and data loss in practice, e.g.: in a production hall or in a hospital. The SCREWBoot system offers excellent protection against data interruptions in case of unintentional pulling on the cable.
Customized manufacturing
In addition to our standard product portfolio, we are able to offer customized SCREWBoot solutions. These can be devloped customized for your plant or system. Also a complete project planning with customized lengths and different connection technologies is no problem for us. The SCREWBoot patch cords can be individually combined with different connector types, such as RJ-45 or M12/M8. Our SCREWBoot system solution offers a wide range of possible combinations of e.g. drag chain compatible, UV and temperature resistant data cable types.
