AIXONTEC TIGERConn is a heavy duty connector used for industrial applications such as oil and gas industries, wind energy, railway, automation and mechanical engineering. The high-quality connector offers an easy and secured assembly through an integrated clip lock. The connector system can achieve protection class IP67 in plugged condition. The core of TIGERConn consists of a shielded Cat.6A RJ45 coupling module and RJ45 plug, which ensures secure 10GbE/Class EA data transmissions.

TIGERConn can be used as a pre-assembled RJ-45 patch cable in different lengths and variants or as single components for self-assembly on site. The RJ-45 coupling fits into the connector housing and the flange housing. The flange housing can be mounted on a housing or flat panel with two screws and fulfils IP67 protection class thanks to its rubber seal.

TIGERConn is a heavy duty connector system with a modular housings for power and data transmission. The modular housings can be configured with a variety of different inserts. 10GbE data transmission over 90m are possible with only one single data cable.
Ethernet connection up to 90m
TIGERConn allows data transmission up to 90 meters with solid conductor data cables.The system allows using of data cables up to 9 mm outer diameter for outdoor and even direct burial applications with extra rodent protection. These advantages make TIGERConn a valuable and unique system solution for industrial ethernet applications.
IP67 waterproof
The solid die-cast aluminium housing with integrated metal clip-lock and rubber seal makes TIGERConn an IP 67 waterproof solution. It also offers a high level of mechanical protection against vibrations and oxidation. The system can be plugged in and out without a snap-in function and offers easy centring and coding for the user on site.
RJ45 Plug housing
The modular RJ45 plug fits firmly in the housing and can be used for wire diameters of AWG22-26 and cable diameters of 6.5 to 9 mm. The high quality RJ45 with 50µ gold plated contacts can be easily connected to the flange housing and locked waterproof with it's integrated clip lock.The plug and flange housing can be easily connect and disconnect without a snap-in function. All our connector housings are supplied with a cable gland. The connector housings can be combined with our ROUGHFLEX corrugated conduit with a special cable gland to protect the cable against water, UV and rodents.
RJ45 Flange housing
The modular Cat.6A, shielded RJ45/RJ45 coupler is screwed tightly to the housing and can be replaced easily if necessary. The Cat 6A coupler can be connected with a standard RJ45 patch cord on both sides without further cable assembly.
